The topic of my presentation is the works of Jim Butcher. He is an american sci-fi/fantasy writer. His two major works are The Dresden Files and The Codex Alera. The Dresden Files is about Harry Dresden a wizard private detective that works in Chicago. The Code Alera series is about the journey of aboy called Tavi as he must strive to save his country from the numerous threats it faces from both outside and within.
The Codex Alera consists of six book, with the final book in the series being realeased last year. The Dresden Files has 12 books so far, with Butcher stating he plan for the series to be about 20 books long. As well as the main novels in the series the Dresden Files has numerous short stories that are being collected in the book Side Jobs. Jim Butcher has also written a spiderman novel titled The Darkest hours.
